Untangled

There are days when our minds feel impossibly loud. Jumbled with overthinking, lists of things to-do, unfinished conversations, worries, and curiosities.

And then we get to run.

And somewhere between our starting mile and the last, everything begins to loosen. The thoughts that felt tangled start to unravel. The pressures and worries ease up. The noise fades. We don’t always find the answers we’re searching for, but almost always we find some sort of clarity, peace, and softness.

Running has a way of reminding us all of that. We don’t have to carry every thought all at once. One step at a time is enough.

June has been full of brainstorming, creating, and having fun sharing snippets of where we are growing We Run on Art. We’ve enjoyed reflecting these last few days on the survey responses and are smiling as we plan out some exciting new things.

It’s hot out there! Stay hydrated, stay cool, be proud of what you are doing, and don’t forget to treat yourself to something yummy and have a little fun along the way!

As Jess works through her Running Alphabet, we are having so much fun behind the scenes playing with them, bundling them in themes, and creatively crafting some new products to release.
